What is Phishing Detection Training Platform?
Phishing Detection Training Platform (Anti Phishing Email Trainer) is an AI-enhanced training platform designed to help you identify phishing emails. Through interactive challenges, you'll learn to recognize common phishing tactics and improve your email security awareness.
How do I get started?
After signing up, start with the Dashboard Tour to familiarize yourself with the platform. Then, click "Start Training" to begin your first challenge. The platform will guide you through analyzing emails and making decisions about whether they're legitimate or phishing attempts.
What are the different levels?
Phishing Detection Training Platform has 4 levels: Beginner (Level 0), Intermediate (Level 1), Advanced (Level 2), and Expert (Level 3). You progress through levels by earning points from correct answers. Each level presents more challenging emails to analyze.
How does scoring work?
You earn points for correctly identifying emails as legitimate or phishing. The scoring system considers accuracy, speed, and difficulty. Correct answers increase your score and streak, while incorrect answers reset your streak. Bonus points are awarded for maintaining long streaks.
What are challenges?
Challenges are timed exercises where you analyze a series of emails and determine if they're legitimate or phishing attempts. Each challenge tests your ability to spot phishing indicators like suspicious senders, malicious links, and social engineering tactics.
What types of challenges are available?
There are three main types: Quick Play (random emails), Marathon Challenges (timed competitions with leaderboards), and Custom Organization Challenges (created by your organization for team training).
What should I look for in phishing emails?
Key indicators include: suspicious sender addresses, urgent or threatening language, requests for personal information, unexpected attachments, misspellings and poor grammar, suspicious links (hover to check URLs), and offers that seem too good to be true.
Are there time limits?
Yes, most challenges have time limits to simulate real-world email decision-making. Quick Play gives you 60 seconds per email, while Marathon Challenges have overall time limits. Take your time to analyze carefully, but don't overthink it!
How can I improve my accuracy?
Practice regularly, review feedback after each answer, pay attention to common phishing patterns, use the tutorial system to learn specific techniques, and analyze both the email content and metadata (sender, subject, etc.). Over time, you'll develop an intuition for spotting phishing attempts.
What are organizations?
Organizations allow teams, companies, or educational institutions to train together. Organization admins can create custom challenges, track team progress, and view analytics on member performance.
How do I join an organization?
You can join an organization by: 1) Receiving an invitation from an admin, 2) Requesting to join if you have an email address matching the organization's domain, or 3) Being added by an organization manager. Requests require admin approval.
What are the different organization roles?
There are three roles: Member (can participate in challenges), Manager (can create challenges and view analytics), and Admin (full control including member management and settings). Your role determines what features you can access.
Can I create my own organization?
Yes! Any user can create an organization. Go to the Organizations page and click "Create Organization". You'll need to provide a name, domain, and description. As the creator, you'll automatically become an admin.
What are badges?
Badges are achievements you earn by completing specific milestones, such as completing your first challenge, reaching certain accuracy levels, maintaining streaks, or achieving high scores. They showcase your progress and expertise.
How do I earn badges?
Badges are earned automatically when you meet their requirements. Check the Badges page to see available badges and your progress toward unlocking them. Requirements vary from completing challenges to achieving specific accuracy rates.
What are certificates?
Certificates are official credentials you can earn by demonstrating proficiency in phishing detection. They can be downloaded, shared, and verified. Certificates are awarded for completing specific challenge sets or achieving high accuracy rates.
How can certificates be verified?
Each certificate has a unique verification code. Anyone can verify a certificate's authenticity by entering the code on our verification page. This ensures your achievements are credible and can be shared with employers or educational institutions.
How do I update my profile?
Go to your Profile page by clicking your avatar in the navigation bar. From there, you can update your name, email, password, and preferences. Changes are saved automatically.
How do I change my password?
Visit your Profile page and click "Change Password". You'll need to enter your current password and your new password twice for confirmation. For security, we recommend using a strong, unique password.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account from your Profile page. Please note that this action is permanent and will delete all your progress, badges, and certificates. Consider exporting your certificates before deletion.
How is my data used?
We take privacy seriously. Your data is used only to provide the training service and track your progress. We never sell your personal information. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
